Overview
We're a national law firm with a local reach. Our legal experts are here for you. Whether it's personal or business, we understand that everyone's situation is different. We are more than just a law firm—you are a team that works together to help individuals and businesses navigate life's ups and downs. Here you will feel a part of a friendly and inclusive environment, be valued for who you are and what you bring, and support each other to achieve incredible things for our clients and communities.
Your role and responsibilities
The team is known for its work in the Real Estate sector, specifically working on commercial and residential real estate disputes/property litigation, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant litigation for investors, developers, retailers and corporate occupiers managing national property portfolios.
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic solicitor to join our national team of three partners and 14 other fee earners. You will work closely with the team nationally and will be involved in a wide variety of cases, working on your own caseload with support from senior colleagues, supervising the work of more junior colleagues, particularly on residential landlord and tenant matters, and assisting senior colleagues on their matters. You will also work alongside other team members and colleagues in our national Restructuring and Insolvency team, acting for Law of Property Act Receivers, high street banks and private banks dealing with both insolvency-related property litigation and high value complex mortgage litigation.
Given the nature of the role, you should be highly organised and be able to work pragmatically. You must be technically excellent with relevant market experience and will be required to support colleagues with the continued development and growth of this successful team. You will participate in relevant practice development initiatives, seek to get involved with business development opportunities and keep up to date with changes in relevant law and practice.
