Working closely with the Headteacher and wider team, youll contribute to the strategic development of Science provision and help shape a curriculum that is ambitious, creative and accessible for every learner.No two days are the same and every day offers the opportunity to inspire, motivate and change lives.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering engaging and differentiated Science lessons tailored to individual pupil needsRaising standards of teaching, learning and achievement across the Science curriculumSupporting pupils with SEN to build confidence, resilience and independenceLeading the development and innovation of Science provision across the schoolCreating stimulating and purposeful learning environmentsMonitoring progress and implementing strategies to support positive outcomesTeaching across the wider curriculum where required, including off-site learning opportunitiesWorking collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to provide holistic supportWhat Were Looking ForWere seeking someone who is:A qualified teacher with UK QTS or equivalentPassionate about Science and inclusive educationExperienced or interested in supporting pupils with SEN and additional needsCreative, adaptable and engaging in their teaching approachCommitted to raising aspirations and improving outcomes for young peopleA positive team player with excellent communication skillsMotivated to contribute to whole-school development and innovationIn possession of a full UK driving licenceAbout UsLongdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for pupils with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.
