The position exists to develop and maintain positive customer relationships in the global power generation sector, identify opportunities for Shanahan Engineering, an EthosEnergy business to materially impact the life cycle value for our customers, develop proposals to clearly articulate those benefits and negotiate and close contracts consistent with the customer’s value proposition and our internal shareholder’s financial expectations. As such, the position owns the global Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.

Job Responsibilities


* Process owner for the global Inquiry to Order (ITO) process. Accountable to maintain metrics of ITO process effectiveness, provide management insight on a continuous basis and lead the continual improvement effort
* Ensure sales targets are achieved and surpassed and provide support to ongoing operations within the business. This will be driven through both sales growth with existing clients and also through the growth of sales with specific new target customers.
* Develop and implement the customer focused Sales Strategy and Sales Plans for products of Construction Services, TFS, Commissioning Services and Consultancy Services.
* Manage the ITO process with creative commercial deal and proposal structuring to deliver successful closure.
* Manage the customer’s Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements
* Comply with the EthosEnergy Commercial Contracting Procedures and Delegation of Authority (DOA).
* Prepare project handovers to OTR for execution with high rates of first pass acceptance
* Develop strategies for existing and new markets
* Coordinate PR activity to promote company awareness in the Industry
* Management of the ITO Departments interaction with CRM tool Salesforce to track all contacts, account, leads, opportunities and other sales activities.
* Activities from opportunity identification to successful deal closure and handover acceptance by the product specific (Construction, TFS, Commissioning, Consultancy) to the Order to Remittance (OTR) process owner during handover.

Experience

* Previous B2B Sales experience
* Prior successful experience in domestic and international account operational management
* Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to communicate technical and commercial detail and concepts to all levels of the business team
* Comfortable presenting to management, customers, partners and other external stakeholders
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Physical Requirements

* Willing to travel to project sites domestically and internationally as required for specific projects. This position can be based from the UK, Ireland or within wider Europe.
