About the role
Duties and responsibilities: 1. Finalise Programme Design • Refine the programme structure based on existing concept note and team inputs • Propose practical mechanisms for scheduling, communication, and engagement across time zones and languages 2.Implementation & Coordination • Support the roll-out of the open call and direct outreach to potential participants • Track expressions of interest and maintain clear records and communication • Coordinate logistics for meetings, check-ins, and events (online and in-person where relevant) 3. Participant Mapping & Matchmaking • Map potential participants across SEA’s extended networks (PhD students, policymakers, and senior economists) • Facilitate the triad matching process based on areas of expertise, region, and learning goals • Draft and share participant bios or “matchmaking briefs” for each group 4. Session Curation & Learning Design • Design templates, tools, and guiding questions to support dynamic and reflective sessions • Help participants shape the content of their meetings and share back insights with the SEA team Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) • Develop a light-touch MEL framework that reflects SEA’s values of relationality and embedded practice • Design tools for feedback collection, reflection prompts, and reporting mechanisms
About you
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student interested in international development, heterodox economics, policy innovation, or feminist leadership to gain hands-on experience in programme design and delivery within a globally respected initiative hosted by the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP).
