Account Executive - German Speaking (Hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 days home)

The company is a global SaaS vendor known for being a market leader, selling solutions to global corporate companies. Their offerings help navigate complex legal, financial, and compliance landscapes, including legal, tax, trade, reporting, and compliance solutions. You will be selling a portfolio of industry-leading solutions focused on supporting mid-market clients with their daily operations.
They seek a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to expand their presence in the corporate SMB market (£5m - £500m turnover) and nurture strong customer relationships.
As an Account Executive, your responsibilities include driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies, acquire new customers, and maximize revenue from existing accounts, focusing on targeted new business prospects.
This role involves new business growth within existing accounts in an assigned territory of mid-market customers. It includes meeting monthly and annual sales quotas through upselling and cross-selling. Navigating complex accounts and demonstrating success in closing high-value deals are essential skills.
Requirements include at least 2 years of B2B sales experience, ideally with solutions mentioned above, being target-driven, KPI-oriented, and capable of articulating complex solutions.
About The Role:
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and grow the customer base
* Collaborate with account specialists, solution consultants, product specialists, and marketing teams
* Act as a customer advocate within the company
* Achieve or surpass sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
* Drive new customer acquisition through strategic initiatives
* Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities
* Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers
* Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders
* Lead customer meetings and develop presentations for complex sales
* Understand customer needs and challenges
* Present tailored solutions demonstrating product value
* Work closely with solution consultants to develop customized solutions
About You:
* Fluent in German
* 1+ years of B2B sales experience in software/technology, legal, data, accounting, or tax industries
* Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong understanding of AI and software technology products and services
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Experience in solution selling and strategic account planning
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
* Track record of developing and nurturing partner relationships
