Overview
Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker Assessment Day - RFH. Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking caring, supportive individuals who communicate well and enjoy helping others. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient care with empathy and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
* Assist with day-to-day patient needs, including personal care, observations, mealtimes, toileting and mobility.
* Perform basic medical checks such as taking temperatures, pulse and respiration.
* Support patients in recovery and contribute to a positive patient experience.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across shifts to ensure continuous patient care.
Qualifications
* Essential Demonstrable ability to meet NHS Trust values; willingness to develop and work towards a Diploma Level 2 or equivalent; demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
* Desirable NVQ Level 2 or equivalent; knowledge of personal care and related procedures; experience of teamwork; experience in customer care; interest or experience in a care setting.

Working Arrangements
* Shift-based work to provide 24/7 patient care (early, late, twilight, nights; some 12-hour shifts). Flexibility with hours through self-rostering.
