About us
Our purpose is simple: to save lives at sea. 24 hours a day, every day, RNLI lifesavers are ready to launch to the rescue. We are known as a lifeboat and lifeguard service, famous for heroic acts of courage, but we're more than a rescue organisation. We influence, supervise and educate people too. Increasingly, we are helping people to stay safe on the water. To do this, our teams need a dedicated, professional, and talented team behind them, and that's where you come in. This is your chance to join that team and help save lives every day.
We are currently looking for a Change Support Officer to join us for up to 24 months.
Some of the benefits
* Salary - £29,079 to £34,210 (dependent on experience)
* Flexible working
* 26 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays
* Outstanding pension scheme (contributions of up to 16% of basic salary)
* Life assurance
* Health and dental cash plan
Your Role
Are you someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, thrives in collaborative environments and is motivated by helping others navigate change?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Change Support Officer to join our Digital Transformation Programme team. Reporting to the Change Manager, you'll work in a matrix team alongside colleagues in Change & Engagement, Communications, Training, and User Experience. Supporting the delivery of change readiness activity, you'll help ensure that people impacted by the programme are informed, engaged and equipped to adapt.
You'll contribute to a wide range of activities including stakeholder engagement, communications and training coordination. Whether it's preparing materials, supporting workshops or maintaining communication and training artefacts, you'll play a vital part in helping teams embrace new ways of working.
Your ability to stay organised in a dynamic environment, respond flexibly to shifting priorities, and build relationships across teams will be key to your success.
About You
Our ideal candidate will bring a thoughtful and proactive approach to their work, with a strong sense of initiative and a genuine interest in how people experience change.
You will be curious, perceptive, and comfortable working in environments where not everything is defined.
We're looking for someone who:
* Has experience of working within a project or programme environment.
* Builds trust and positive working relationships across teams.
* Is organised and responsive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
* Has contributed to the development and maintenance of communications and learning materials.
* Takes ownerships of their work while remaining open to guidance and collaboration.
* Brings some exposure to technology-enabled transformation (either directly or indirectly), which will help in understanding the context and pace of change.
If you're motivated to support the people side of change and want to use your knowledge, skills, and energy to make a difference we'd love to hear from you.
