Build Recruitment are looking for an experienced Work Planner for our client a leading social housing company to work in there office in Manchester
Join a dynamic maintenance team as a Work Planner, helping manage schedules, technician workloads, and ensuring responsive, efficient service delivery. This role suits someone organised, tech-savvy, and customer-focused.
What You'll Do:
Schedule and optimise daily repairs & maintenance jobs
Manage technician diaries, emergency repairs, and subcontractor use
Monitor job progress, allocate resources, and ensure smooth operations
Communicate with technicians and customers to keep everyone updated
Use bespoke IT systems and produce reports/forecasts
What You'll Need:
Strong planning and admin skills
Experience in scheduling or maintenance environments
Excellent communication and IT skills (Excel, scheduling systems)
Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
£18 per hour
