Our client is a well-established organisation who offer design and manufacturing solutions to their sector. They are seeking a dedicated and team orientated Accountant to strengthen the current finance function. Reporting directly into the MD, the ideal candidate will be responsible for…
1. Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial plans
2. Prepare and submit accurate, timely monthly management accounts and performance reports
3. Lead the year-end audit process, coordinating with external auditors
4. Ensure the business has appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation measures
5. Monitor and enhance internal financial controls, procedures, and compliance
6. Provide financial insight and analysis to support decision-making
7. Recruit, lead, and develop the finance team to optimise output and support growth
8. Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting tools
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role with end-to-end responsibility. Solid experience of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is key. In return, the company offer a competitive salary, additional annual leave (25 days plus bank holidays).
