Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Bridgwater
Hours: 5 days a week 07.30 to 16.30
Job Purpose:
To identify and develop new sales opportunities within the designated area, working closely with the Regional Manager to maximize company sales and profitability. This role is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring adherence to company policies, and driving the branch to achieve or exceed set targets and budgets.
Key Accountabilities
1. Drive sales growth while maintaining the existing customer base.
2. Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction, enforcing trading terms and conditions.
3. Maintain branch profitability and margin levels.
4. Collaborate with the Regional Manager on marketing, promotions, and strategies.
5. Manage stock levels, deliveries, and dispatch processes.
6. Oversee banking, credit control, and accurate system entries for invoices, sales orders, and stock transfers.
7. Supervise and support branch staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and health & safety regulations.
8. Maintain company vehicles, ensuring legal compliance and upkeep.
9. Conduct regular audits of stock, reporting discrepancies.
10. Manage and resolve customer enquiries and concerns.
11. Report costs, sales figures, general market insights, and customer feedback.
12. Oversee daily delivery and dispatch processes, ensuring efficient routing.
13. Load and unload delivery vehicles when required.
Role Requirements
14. Proven sales experience in a branch environment.
15. Strong understanding of PVCu Windows, Cellular and Composite Doors, or the wider construction industry (preferred).
16. Broad-based computer skills, including Window Design software.
17. Full UK driving licence.
