Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Project Support Officer, located in Watford with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Project Support Officer will provide essential project management support, including maintaining project documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and assisting in planning and scheduling project activities. Other key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing project data, identifying risks, and ensuring effective communication between teams and leadership.

These projects involve multiple internal and external stakeholders, often across different departments or even multiple companies within the group. Ensuring consistent tracking, documentation, and structured communication is essential.

As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in providing project administration support: collecting and validating information from partners and stakeholders, preparing documents and reports, organising meetings, and maintaining accurate project records. Tools in use include MS Office 365 and Jira.

Key Responsibilities

Project Administration & Coordination

· Provide project management support as part of the central PMO team.

· Maintain and regularly update project status documents, action logs, RAID logs, and dashboards.

· Prepare project documentation, including agendas, reports, timelines, tables, charts, and stakeholder updates.

· Track project deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and commercial elements.

· Experience of working on a M&A project would be highly beneficial, including documentation, stakeholder alignment, and supporting the various project workstreams.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

· Interact professionally with senior internal and external stakeholders.

· Coordinate and organise internal and external meetings, including diary management, scheduling, and virtual meeting setup/support.

· Manage conflicting priorities and operate effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

Tools & Documentation

· Produce high-quality PowerPoint presentations for leadership and stakeholder meetings.

· Maintain project records, documentation, and workflows within Jira.

· Ensure accuracy and consistency of project information across tools and sources.

Key Requirements

· 3–4 years of experience working in a project management, PMO, or project coordination environment

· Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

· Strong coordination skills, including organising and running meetings via online platforms.

· Excellent multitasking and task-planning ability.

· Solid IT proficiency in MS Office 365, especially PowerPoint; good visual sense for layout and presentation.

· Experience with Visio and process mapping is an advantage.

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail.

· Experience in a project management environment and familiarity with PM processes/tools.

· Experience with Jira and agile/PMO methodologies.


Proficiency in Italian language would be a great advantage
