Customer Service Advisor (Temporary)
📍 Location: Oxted
đź’° Pay: ÂŁ12.62 per hour
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am - 5pm
🗓️ Start Date: ASAP (for up to 3 months initially)
Are you immediately available and looking to step into a busy, customer-focused environment?
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly and dedicated team on a temporary basis, providing essential support during a busy period.
The Role:
In this fast-paced position, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers — handling a high volume of incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information, and ensuring every enquiry is dealt with promptly and professionally.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Responding to customer queries and resolving them at first contact wherever possible
* Escalating more complex issues to the senior team
* Providing accurate information and guidance in a calm and professional manner
* Logging and updating all correspondence accurately
Full training will be provided on systems and procedures, so confidence in learning new processes is key.
About You:
You’ll be joining a small but busy customer service team where teamwork, accuracy, and professionalism are essential. We’re looking for someone who is confident, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous customer service experience (phone-based preferred).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
* Confident using MS Office and computerised systems.
* Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently.
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Understanding of data protection principles.
