Our client is looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Assistant to be based in their Glasgow office. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position has responsibility for delivery of the accounts payable procedure, ensuring a best-in-class customer service experience.
Duties include:
1. Delivery of financial processes, specifically pertaining to the purchase ledger.
2. Accurately process a high volume of invoices, matching, coding and inputting for payment.
3. Maintaining supplier contact.
4. Liaising with contractors regarding invoice and account queries.
5. Work closely with other departments to ensure purchase ledger procedures are followed accurately and consistently.
6. First point of contact for incoming finance customer communication by phone and email, facilitating a seamless payment process.
