Engineering opportunities for Military across UK
Amazon UK Services Ltd. is looking for a motivated technician who enjoys working in a team. The role focuses on maintaining equipment safely and at high standards, and it includes non‑traditional shifts that may involve nights and weekends.
This position is intended for those with military experience who are interested in transitioning to the private sector. Amazon’s military recruiting team can discuss a range of opportunities. Across Europe we operate more than 50 Fulfillment Centers, hundreds of Delivery Stations, thousands of machines, and tens of thousands of employees working together to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
As a member of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team you will maintain and optimize technologies throughout the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Your daily tasks will include planned preventative maintenance, risk mitigation, and proactive issue resolution to improve equipment availability and performance.
Basic Qualifications
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* Hold NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 / IVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / EAL Level 3 specialized in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
* Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidelines.
* Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
