Our client, a leading Formula 1 team, is currently seeking experienced Composite Fitters to join their dynamic team on an ongoing contract basis. For the right individuals, there's potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance and attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assembling, trimming, and finishing high-performance composite components such as wings, bodywork, suspension parts, and floors
* Interpreting and following detailed engineering drawings and build specifications
* Carrying out bonding and surface preparation using adhesives, resins, and sealants
* Ensuring all work meets dimensional tolerances, cosmetic standards, and performance criteria
* Collaborating closely with engineering and inspection teams to resolve build issues
* Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to all health and safety standards
* Supporting race build and development projects under tight time constraints
Job Requirements:
* Experience in F1 composite fitting, or significant experience in high-level motorsport
* Deep knowledge of composite materials, tools, and bonding techniques
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
* Flexible, professional attitude and willingness to work long hours if required
* Reliability, consistency, and pride in your craftsmanship
