We’re looking for a Property Condition Operative to join our Responsive Repairs team — someone who takes pride in delivering reliable, high‑quality property inspections and minor repairs, who can work safely and independently across a patch of homes, and who enjoys helping customers maintain safe, well‑maintained properties. If you are organised, practical and committed to positive outcomes for customers and communities, this could be the role for you. What You'll Be Doing As a Property Condition Operative you will carry out effective damp and mould related tasks. You will visit customers’ homes, should cases of damp and mould be reported, and prioritise cleaning and treating any mould found, and advising customers on how to prevent its return leaving their home safe. I complete basic property inspections and identify if further works are needed. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting visual property inspections and internal/external condition surveys Undertaking minor treatment and maintenance tasks in line with training and company procedures Recording inspection results, repair actions and safety observations clearly on core systems Raising work orders for major repairs, compliance issues or safety concerns and liaising with repairs coordinators Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and following up to confirm customer satisfaction Adhering to health, safety and safeguarding policies, including completing risk assessments and using personal protective equipment Working collaboratively with colleagues across repairs, compliance and neighbourhood teams to deliver joined‑up services Maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment in a serviceable and safe condition What We're Looking For You’ll bring: Customer‑focussed approach with the ability to engage sensitively and respectfully with a diverse range of customers Valid UK driving licence or ability to travel across the patch as required Confident use of mobile devices, Microsoft applications, and good practical skills Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills Understanding of health and safety requirements, risk assessment and safe working practices Ability to manage time and workload across a geographic patch, including travel between properties For full details on the essential criteria and role responsibilities, please click here.
