1. A serious network – you already have extensive relationships across Europe’s deep tech and AI ecosystem, from founders and VCs to academics and operators. You’re known and respected in the community.
2. Deep curiosity and conviction: you live and breathe technology. You have unique insights, clear perspectives, and the courage to challenge conventional thinking.
3. Deal leadership experience: you’ve led or played a major role in sourcing, structuring, and closing venture investments. You can show a live and active network of deal flow.
4. Financial acumen: you’re fluent in financial modelling and valuation, and can build conviction from data as easily as from instinct.
5. Clarity of thought: you can make complex ideas simple, and make the technical compelling to any audience.
6. Gravitas and credibility: you’re comfortable debating senior leaders and influencing key decisions.
7. Energy and presence: you love being out in the ecosystem meeting people, travelling, learning. You get energy from connection.
8. Patience and pragmatism: you understand the pace of a corporate environment and can balance ambition with persistence.
What you’ll do
9. Build and nurture a powerful network across Europe’s deep tech and AI landscape.
10. Identify, evaluate, and lead high-potential investment opportunities.
11. Work with founders and portfolio teams to help them scale and succeed.
12. Represent us externally – from conferences and panels to private roundtables and one-on-one conversations.
13. Bring sharp insight and conviction to internal debates and investment committees.
Preferred education/qualification:
14. Undergraduatedegreerequired.Preferredmajorsincludethefollowing:Economics,Engineering,ExactSciences, Computer science, Finance, Business, and Entrepreneurship.
15. Relevant yearsofinvestmentexperience(VC/PE,corporateIR,investmentbanking,privateequity).
