Sterling Meat Company are looking to recruit experienced and qualified Butchery Managers and Assistant Managers to join the teams in our Yorkshire region.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of retail management within the meat industry, will be personable and able to deliver excellent customer service through product knowledge and excellent communication, as well as being a highly skilled professional/technical butcher with good presentation, great leadership and customer service skills.
Essential Skills/Experience
* Managing the day-to-day operation of the store.
* Monitoring sales and gross margin performance.
* Driving sales to meet and exceed performance.
* Managing food hygiene and HACCP procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and Company best practices
* Managing health & safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies and procedures.
* Cash handling procedures
* Delivering outstanding customer service, meeting customer demand and expectations consistently.
* Training, developing and motivating the team.
* Smart and well-presented appearance.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent attendance/timekeeping.
* Experience in butchery/meat cutting (boning out not required), preferably within a retail environment
* Excellent leadership skills with a strong work ethic with a 'can do' attitude.
