In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the development of advanced X-ray scanning technologies used to detect security threats such as explosives and contraband. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute structured data collection and testing activities using prototype X-ray systems. Develop, manage, and maintain test sets and materials to support both product testing and algorithm development. Conduct hands-on testing, including scanning of test items and meticulous documentation of results. Analyze and curate test datasets, identifying trends and providing actionable feedback to the algorithm development team. Research and interpret regulatory and commercial requirements to inform algorithm design and validation. Serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory testing agencies during certification processes. Maintain accurate records of all testing activities, observations, and outcomes. Manage inventory of test materials and ensure readiness for ongoing and future testing needs. Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (1020%). Physically capable of lifting and moving large and small luggage bags as part of the testing process. Desired Skills Familiarity with testing methodologies, data analysis techniques, and statistical tools. Experience working with regulatory bodies or in a compliance-driven environment. Knowledge of munitions, weapons, or explosives is advantageous but not required (training provided).
