Our client is a well-established construction main contractor based in Bournemouth, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, education, healthcare and residential sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the South Coast, they are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders for construction projects
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
* Producing accurate take-offs and pricing schedules
* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
* Identifying value engineering opportunities
* Attending tender review meetings and client presentations where required
* Working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams
* Assessing project risks and opportunities
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
* Supporting the business in securing profitable new work
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience working as an Estimator for a main contractor
* Experience pricing projects within sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare or residential
* Strong understanding of construction processes and cost planning
* Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
* A proactive and organised approach to work
* Relevant construction qualification (preferred but not essential)
