Are you ready to take the next step in your social work career? We&re looking for a dynamic and committed Deputy Team Manager to help lead our Neath Community Children&s Team with energy, compassion, and purpose.
In this pivotal role, you&ll support the Team Manager in delivering a high-quality, responsive service to children and families across Neath. You&ll work with children in need of care and support, those in need of protection, and looked-after children$ûensuring that every child receives the best possible outcomes in line with current legislation, policy, and best practice.
Some of What You&ll Be Doing
1. Providing professional leadership and guidance to Social Workers and Support Workers.
2. Managing a small caseload of complex cases to stay connected to frontline practice.
3. Supporting the development and delivery of our service to maintain excellence.
4. Helping shape a culture of learning, support, and continuous improvement.

What You&ll Need
12. A recognised Social Work qualification.
13. Registration with Social Care Wales.
14. At least three years& post-qualifying experience working with children and young people.
