A leading UK national law firm with a strong real estate and infrastructure platform is seeking to appoint a Projects Partner to support a major new national mandate and drive the continued expansion of its rail sector offering. This is a strategic hire arising from a significant new instructions from their established client base requiring coordinated advice across multiple practice areas.
The Opportunity

* Join a nationally recognised real estate and infrastructure practice with a growing reputation in the rail sector. Work closely with the lead partner on a substantial, multi‑year rail project involving complex property, regulatory, commercial and operational issues. Play a central role in shaping and expanding the firm’s railways capability, with full support from a collaborative national partnership. Access a diverse client base including transport bodies, infrastructure operators, developers, local authorities and private‑sector stakeholders. Benefit from a platform known for cross‑practice integration, long‑term client relationships and investment in strategic growth areas.
Key Experience Sought
\t
* Significant experience advising on rail infrastructure, transport property, or major projects within the rail sector. Strong understanding of the property, regulatory, commercial and operational frameworks governing the UK rail industry. Experience acting for transport bodies, infrastructure owners, operators, developers or public‑sector clients. Ability to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary matters involving real estate, planning, environmental, commercial and construction interfaces. Proven capability to manage stakeholder relationships across large‑scale, multi‑party projects. Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers within a growing team.
