Do you take pride in delivering great customer service while supporting a shop to run smoothly day to day?We are looking for a Retail Supervisor to join our Milton Road shop — a well-loved community store supported by a brilliant team of staff and volunteers.Milton is a consistent, high-performing shop with strong local support. It plays an important role in raising vital income for Weston Hospicecare, helping us provide care to local people and their families.This is a varied and active role. You'll be at the heart of the shop, supporting customers, working closely with volunteers and ensuring stock is processed and presented to a high standard.What you'll be doing:Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming shop environment.Building strong relationships with customers and donors in the local community.Encouraging donations and Gift Aid sign-ups in a confident and engaging way.Supporting the day-to-day running of the shop, including sorting, pricing, merchandising and replenishing stock.Maintaining a well-presented, commercially focused shop floor.Leading and supporting volunteers during shifts, allocating tasks and providing guidance.Supporting the opening and closing of the store where required.Ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained.Following all till, cash handling and security procedures.What we're looking for:Retail experience in a customer-focused environment.Confidence supervising and motivating volunteers.A hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in across all areas of the shop.Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.A positive attitude and strong team ethic.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Why join us?
