Frontend Engineer
Salary banding: £43,920 - £60,640

What you’ll be doing
* Build high-quality, responsive frontend solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and easy for others to extend
* Create custom UI experiences that engage and delight sports fans
* Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver the best possible solutions
* Integrate APIs and third-party services (including video providers)
* Manage and deploy code to internal environments (Dev, Test)
* Track progress and communicate clearly with the wider project team
* Take pride in the details—performance, accessibility, and polish matter here
* Continuously develop your skills and share knowledge across the team
What we’re looking for
You have expert knowledge of:
* HTML & CSS
* Responsive web development
* Browser and device testing (including debugging)
* Either SASS development or JavaScript development (vanilla JS is essential)
You’re comfortable with:
* SASS
* JavaScript (vanilla essential)
* React
* Gulp workflows
* Git and code management
* JSON data structures
* Jira for task and ticket management
* Documenting frontend solutions and code
* Working with APIs (GET/POST)
* Integrating third-party libraries and applications
You understand:
* NPM and Bower dependency management
* ES6
* Web performance optimisation
* Web accessibility standards
* SEO best practices
* Gulp workflow setup
