Job Description

1. Conducting property inspections and surveys as a Repairs Surveyor across Devon, identifying defects including damp, mould, and condensation
2. Managing subcontractors and overseeing repairs delivery in line with quality, safety, and budget standards across Devon
3. Diagnosing complex building faults and specifying effective remedial works to improve housing conditions
4. Ensuring compliance with HHSRS and delivering strong customer satisfaction across the Devon region
5. Coordinating responsive, planned, and cyclical repairs programmes while maintaining accurate records and KPIs

Skills / Qualifications

6. HNC Level 4 (or higher) in Surveying, Construction, or Built Environment
7. Strong knowledge of building construction, legislation, and defect diagnosis within housing
8. Proven experience managing contractors within a repairs or maintenance environment
9. Excellent communication and customer service skills for a field-based Surveyor role in Devon
10. Full UK Driving Licence and strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and housing systems
