Project Manager - Office Fit Out (3-4 Years' Experience)

Overview
My client are seeking a motivated Project Manager with 3-4 years' experience in the commercial office fit out industry. This role will primarily be office-based, with visits to site depending on project stage. You will initially support a senior Project Manager, providing strong administrative and coordination support, before progressing to manage smaller projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Administration
1. Support an existing Project Manager across live projects.
2. Handle administrative duties including documentation, reporting, programming updates, issuing minutes, and maintaining project records.
3. Liaise with the professional team, who will assist with technical paperwork.
4. Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
Project Delivery
5. Assist in the management of Cat A refurbishments and Cat B office fit outs.
6. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
7. Oversee smaller projects independently once familiar with processes.
8. Coordinate project activities to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
9. Work closely with commercial, design, and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Project Portfolio
10. Office fit out projects ranging from £50K to £5M.
11. Majority of projects based in London, within approximately one hour of the office.
12. Commercial, Offices, Cat A and Cat B
Candidate Requirements
13. Industry-specific experience: previously worked for a commercial office fit-out contractor.
14. Experience with Cat A and Cat B office schemes.
15. Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
16. Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment.
17. Willingness to travel to sites
18. 2-3 years minimum in similar roles, ideally progressing toward full project delivery responsibilities.
