The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting PE teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
* Leading and supporting a variety of extracurricular sports clubs, practices, and fixtures (e.g., football, netball, rugby, athletics, basketball, badminton, etc.).
* Mentoring and coaching individual students or small groups to develop their sporting skills and teamwork.
* Promoting a positive and active lifestyle, encouraging student participation and enthusiasm for physical activity.
* Supporting with the organisation and running of school sports events, inter-house competitions, and sports day.
* Assisting with the set-up and pack-down of equipment, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
* Supervising students during PE lessons, break times, and extracurricular activities, promoting good behaviour and positive sportsmanship.
* Acting as a positive role model and fostering a culture of respect, resilience, and fair play.
* Contributing to the wider school community and supporting other school activities as required.

The Ideal Candidate:
* A recent graduate with a degree in Sports Science, Physical Education (PE), Sports Coaching, Sports Development, or a related field.

* Experience (formal or informal, e.g., coaching, volunteering, youth work) working with children or young people aged 11-16 is highly desirable.
