Skilled Machinist Metal CuttingContract:10 months with long term extensions projectedStart:ASAPHours:Days Monday to FridayOverviewOur client, a global leader in Formula One is seeking an experiencedSkilledMachinistwith strong metal cutting expertise to join their high-performance manufacturing division.This is a key role supporting the production of precision components essential for race performance, development, and reliability.This long-term contract provides the opportunity to work with cutting-edge materials, world-class machinery, and a team renowned for engineering excellence.Skills & Experience Required
* Proven background as aPrecision Machinist,CNC Machinist,Grinder, or similar within high?tolerance engineering environments.
* Strong knowledge ofmetal cutting principles, including tool selection, chip formation, speeds/feeds, and machining strategy.
* Experience witheither grinding operations and / or CNC programming would be highly desirable).
* Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances typically required in motorsport, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing.
* Confident reading engineering drawings.
* Familiarity with exotic materials common in F1 (e.g., titanium, Inconel, high-grade steels, aluminium alloys).
* Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to fine-tuning machining processes.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering right-first-time quality.
