Job Summary
As a key member of the Specialized UK Retail Team, the Assistant Store Leader plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and driving strong sales performance. You will support the Store Leader across all areas of the business while developing and demonstrating your own leadership style.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- what you’ll be doing day-to-day
1. Ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth running of shifts by supporting Store Leader
2. Driving the team to deliver on KPI performance metrics
3. Key holder and alarm contact
4. Issuing daily duties to the team and following-up for completion and compliance
5. Stock and inventory management, accuracy and amendments
6. Investigations under the disciplinary process
7. Ensuring the effective scheduling of staff, and taking action to address issues where required
8. Awareness and responsibility for security of stock and staff
9. Ensuring teammates are compliant with training and legality as required e.g. H&S processes, SU access and completions
10. Banking and reporting to finance team
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
11. Excellent customer service focus
12. Strong market knowledge within the cycle and leisure industry
13. Commercially astute to identify and exploit opportunities in order to serve the local community and our riders
14. Authentic ties to communities relevant to the brand and an understanding of the social, cultural and environmental context we operate in
15. Highly capable in sales with a desire to meet and exceed budgeted revenue and profit targets
16. Strategically capable, particularly when the Store Leader is unavailable, prepared to take responsibility for actions whilst leading the team
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with riders and teammates alike
18. Consistently seeking to improve own performance and that of others
19. Demonstrates self-motivation and awareness
20. Operationally proficient in I.T. skills using EPOS and similar
21. Citrus experience preferred but not essential
