Outwood Academy Adwick seeks an energetic and confident individual to work with our staff and pupils as a Cover Supervisor.
We currently have a full-time role (Monday to Friday) as well as a 0.4fte (2 days).

Leaders’ records show that bullying is rare, and if it happens, pupils are confident that staff will deal with it quickly.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students during short-term teacher absences and assisting in preparing the learning environment and the materials required. You will cover lessons of any subject using the cover work set by the teacher, set high expectations to motivate and challenge students, manage behaviour effectively, and promote a positive learning environment.
In periods where cover is not required, you will support in the classroom as directed.
The post would ideally suit an individual considering a teaching career, but applications are welcome from any candidate with integrity, imagination, and energy for this rewarding role.
