What You Will Do
As a Systems Engineer at Johnson Controls, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional engineering services to our customers across system maintenance, installations, and service delivery. You will ensure all work meets or exceeds customer expectations and that Johnson Controls is seen as a trusted partner in delivering world-class engineering solutions.
In this role, you will take full ownership of engineering service activities, including system installations, maintenance, and responding to technical call-outs. You will coordinate with internal teams and customers, maintain communication, and keep accurate paperwork and billing records. You will support the team by responding to technical faults and working closely with customers to maintain, optimize, and enhance their systems. Participation in an on-call rota for 24/7 support is also required.
How You Will Do It
* Collaborate with customers, project teams, and stakeholders to develop system requirements and solutions.
* Manage system installations, maintenance, and monitor systems and infrastructure.
* Ensure solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Assist in commissioning new installations and obtain customer sign-off.
* Conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and contribute to project costings and designs.
* Complete documentation to meet timelines and standards.
* Follow Johnson Controls’ procedures and safety policies.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in an electrical or similar field-based role.
* Excellent communication skills internally and with customers.
* Self-driven, enthusiastic, and able to work independently.
* Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach.

* Willingness to travel nationwide, mainly across London and the Southeast.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Ability to deliver high-quality customer engineering services.
* Reliable, capable of working autonomously and in teams.
* Ability to achieve and maintain government-level SC clearance.
