Lettings Negotiator
Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator on behalf of a leading estate agent. The Lettings Negotiator role is about helping tenants find the right homes, supporting landlords with first-class service, and keeping deals moving at pace. You'll be the face of the company, out at viewings, on the phone with applicants, negotiating agreements, and closing deals.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage property listings, field enquiries, and conduct viewings.
2. Guide tenants through the rental process - from viewing to move-in.
3. Deliver a professional, knowledgeable, and helpful experience every step of the way.
4. Qualify applicants, match them with the right properties, and negotiate lets.
5. Build strong relationships with landlords and keep them updated throughout the letting process.
6. Ensure all relevant checks, references, and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
7. Maintain a healthy applicant pipeline and regularly update internal systems.
8. Track lettings KPIs, meet monthly targets, and contribute to team success.
9. Spot opportunities for upselling or additional services that add value.
10. Stay informed about local market conditions, pricing, and competition.
11. Work closely with the property management and maintenance teams to ensure smooth handovers.
12. Be a team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive office environment.
13. Any other duties role may involve.
Person Specification:
14. 1+ years' experience in lettings, sales, or a fast-paced customer-facing role
15. Confident communicator with strong negotiation and people skills
16. Great energy, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done
17. Knowledge of the NI rental market (preferred, but not essential)
18. Self-starter with a drive to hit goals and grow your earnings
19. Full UK driving licence
