Job Description
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Exeter area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team.
Shifts:Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included on a rota basis)
* Class 1
Hours:Days
* 9-10 hour long shifts
* Days - typically 09:00 - 10:00am start time
Pay Rate:
* Monday to Friday - £16.00 per hour PAYE
* Saturday - £18.50 per hour PAYE
* Sunday - £21.50 per hour PAYE
Location:Exeter, EX5
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
* Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance, weekends included and required
* Securely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units.
* Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift.
* Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck however, will be predominately trunking.
* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
