Credit Control Administrator – Temporary Role We are currently seeking a skilled Credit Control Administrator to support the finance team of a manufacturing client in Edinburgh. This is a temporary role expected to last for up to 3 months, with the assignment reviewed on a weekly basis. * Pay Rate: £14.23 per hour * Hours: Core hours are 9am – 3pm, Monday to Friday. There is flexibility with start and finish times outside of these core hours. Key Objectives * Coordinate with finance colleagues and other departments to resolve accounts receivable matters. * Establish credit limits and evaluate customer creditworthiness. * Implement credit control procedures to minimise risk. * Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring timely collections. Main Tasks * Setting up customer accounts. * Handling queries and providing excellent customer service. * Monitoring and resolving customer account issues. * Taking customer payments. * Performing credit checks and assessing payment history. Skills & Experience Required * Proficient in financial systems and credit management tools (ERP/SAP/Epicor). * Strong MS Office knowledge, especially Excel. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve disputes. * Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Preferred * Experience in a manufacturing environment. * Previous exposure to high-volume transactions and monthly accounting cycles. * Strong organisational and time management skills.
