To support this mission, we are seeking to appoint a Course Leader for Level 1 Engineering on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE). This role presents an exciting opportunity for a passionate and forward-thinking individual to lead and develop our Level 1 Engineering programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a balanced curriculum that integrates both practical and theory-based sessions, while inspiring and supporting students to achieve their full potential. The Course Leader will oversee curriculum development, ensure high standards in teaching and assessment, and play a key role in maintaining quality assurance. They will also be responsible for monitoring student progress, attendance, and safeguarding practices. We are seeking a candidate with a Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering Technology and relevant industry experience in sectors such as offshore, renewable energy, machining and mechanical engineering. Strong communication and people management skills are essential, along with a sound understanding of health and safety practices, including safe systems of work. A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent) is required, as is a commitment to supporting students through effective pastoral and academic guidance.
