At we go beyond standard repairs, we set the benchmark for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join our Long Eaton, Nottingham bodyshop.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional with experience in vehicle stripping, fitting, mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing accident repair groups.
The Role – Strip Fitter / MET Technician
14. Dismantle and reassemble accident-damaged vehicles safely and efficiently
15. Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
16. Carry out vehicle strip and fit work in line with manufacturer repair methods
17. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs where required
18. Work closely with Panel Technicians and Paint Technicians to ensure smooth workflow
19. Use modern diagnostic tools and repair equipment
20. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping within the workshop
What We’re Looking For
21. Proven experience as a Strip Fitter, MET Technician, or Vehicle Trim Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
22. Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
23. Experience removing and refitting vehicle components to manufacturer standards
24. ATA accreditation (or working towards it) is desirable
25. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
26. A reliable team player with pride in producing high-quality work
