The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention coordinator is to ensure the protection of people & assets of Amazon’s FC in accordance with global Security guidelines and Policies.
The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.
To assist the Security Manager in day-to-day activities, planning, sourcing, and executing processes and procedures. The Security Coordinator, along with the Security Team, works together to ensure high-quality and timely support to the organization's operations.
Responsibilities include:
1. Security Operation
o Rationalization & Review of Guard Force
o Profiling of Guard Force
o Implementation & Follow-up of Security Plan
o Review of Post Site Instruction
o Preparing and analyzing reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Half-yearly, Annual)
o Ensuring SLAs are met for all processes
o Maintaining proper functioning of Control Room systems
o Patrolling observations, corrective actions, and follow-ups
o Monitoring Daily Vehicle Movements
o Ensuring all posts are 4M & 5S compliant
2. Audits/Certifications
o Updating plans & SOPs
o Periodic documentation checks
o Preparation for internal & external audits
o Follow-up on infrastructure like lights, hydrants, emergency exits, and access controls
o Review of manpower at frisking points and maintenance of related systems
o Conducting surprise checks and 5S audits at frisking points
3. Process Improvement & Loss Prevention
o Review and improve processes
o Quarterly assessments and loss prevention reporting
o Gathering feedback from shop floors
o Follow-up on CAPA actions and conducting loss prevention audits
4. Scrap Disposal Auditing
o Review and improve scrap disposal processes
o Monitoring vehicle movements
o Conducting surprise checks and cross-functional audits
5. Security System Management
o Maintain 95% serviceability of security systems
o Ensure 100% training of security guards
o Control access levels and review security gadgets' operational status
o Schedule preventive maintenance and review reports
6. Loss Prevention Analysis
o Collaborate with ICQA team for unreconciled ASINs analysis
o Conduct investigations and submit reports
o Perform surprise checks and follow CAPA actions
7. Security Stores & Assets
o Maintain updated assets list and schedules
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Security, Loss Prevention, Shrinkage, Asset Protection, Investigations, or Inventory management. Professional certifications are preferred. Candidates should have:
* 3-5 years in law enforcement or security-related roles
* Knowledge of security equipment, technology, and security investigations
* Understanding of information security processes and systems
* Experience in security auditing and familiarity with MNC culture
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Same as basic qualifications, emphasizing experience in security investigations, audits, and working within MNC environments.
