Overview:
We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our reputable law firm in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will assist one of our Conveyancing teams in handling property transactions and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Conveyancing process.
Responsibilities:
* You will deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, and provide advice and assistance.
* You will be responsible for chasing various documentation, I.D, Mortgage offers and searches.
* You will keep the case management system and third party websites up to date in real time.
* You will ensure that clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at all times.
* You will prepare documentation as required during the Conveyancing process.
* You may prepare completion packs for the Accounts department, to include completion statement and invoices.
* You will deal with post completion matters as directed by your manager.
* You may assist with the completion process.
* You must comply with all Chartahouse policies and procedures.
* You will need to assist with any other administrative duties required for all teams within the company.
Essential Skills:
* At least 6 months experience working in a similar role.
* Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Great telephone manner.
* Highly organised
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Experience using a case management system is a benefit.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £23,000.00 per year
