EPR Workstream Lead – 18 Month Fixed Term / Secondment
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workstream Lead to play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and implementation of designated workstreams across Great Western Hospital (GWH), Royal United Hospitals Bath (RUH), and Salisbury Foundation Trust (SFT). This role is central to the successful deployment of the Cerner Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. Workstream Leads will guide pathway discovery, shape future workflows, oversee configuration, and act as subject matter experts for their clinical or operational area.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the planning, development, and delivery of the designated EPR workstream across GWH, RUH, and SFT.
* Guide pathway discovery to fully understand current processes.
* Lead the design of future workflows that reflect best practice and meet clinical and operational needs.
* Act as subject matter expert and oversee configuration of the Cerner EPR system to support safe, efficient, and effective care.
* Coordinate local change partners and work closely with supplier and transformation teams to shape clinical configuration and ensure consistent, well‑governed decisions across sites.
* Support the development or updating of standard operating procedures so new workflows are clearly defined and ready for implementation.
* Oversee successful completion of all implementation activities relating to your area of expertise.
