Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Portsmouth and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.
Job Description
As the Project Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for:
3. Input project-related financial transactions into accounting systems.
4. Maintain organised records of invoices, receipts, and other documentation.
5. Assist in tracking project budgets and actual expenditures.
6. Flag variances between budgeted and actual costs for review.
7. Help prepare financial reports and project cost summaries.
8. Provide assistance during audits or internal reviews.
9. Communicate with project managers, vendors, and finance staff to resolve discrepancies or gather information.
10. Other adhoc duties.

To be successful for the Project Accounting Assistant you must of had exposure to some or all of the above responsibilities.
