About The Post
Come join the Team We have a vacancy for a Project Officer within the Warm Homes Team in our Strategic Housing service.
We are working hard to ensure that everyone in the Borough has a safe, warm and energy efficient home, developing affordable warmth programmes and tackling fuel poverty.
As a Project Officer, you will support the delivery of existing and future fuel poverty initiatives aimed at improving the energy efficiency of homes and providing support and assistance to residents to help them save money on their energy bills. We're looking for someone with a commitment to tackling fuel poverty and health inequalities who has experience of supporting the delivery of multi-million pound retrofit or housing improvement projects. You should have some experience of dealing with vulnerable people in crisis situations, face to face and over the phone, along with exceptional administrative skills. We are a small, passionate and busy team and so you will need to be organised and able to work on your own initiative. You will also need to have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
