Specialist Vehicle Technician - Thirsk
1. Basic Salary up to £40,000
2. NO WEEKENDS
3. Mon - Fri, 830-530 with an hour for lunch
4. Bonus on work brought in via referral
5. Independent Garage with Main Dealer level of service
6. Join a garage with high level diagnostic tools and a reputation for fixing things that others can't
7. The client does some regular servicing yet focuses on retrofitting; engine work; tuning; track and race work; engineering etc
Our client is an independent garage in Thirsk, which is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team as it grows. This garage is known for complex repairs and advanced diagnostics, as well as track and race work and engineering crossover, so experience in these areas would be helpful, although full training is provided where needed.
Responsibilities of this Vehicle Technician role:
8. Repair and service vehicles
9. Undertake major engine and electrical work
10. Complete diagnostic checks
11. Inspect vehicles for wear and tear/general faults
12. Tuning, retrofitting, engine work, track and race work, and doing the more complex jobs that other businesses can't or won't
The ideal Vehicle Technician will have:
13. Level 3 qualification or the equivalent level of skill
14. Experience working in a garage or main dealer
15. Excellent technical knowledge
16. Full UK driving licence
17. Own set of tools
18. Experience in the client's type of work
The successful Vehicle Technician will get:
19. Basic salary of up to £40,000
