Industrial Project Manager Opportunity
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Project Manager to join a leading global organization. This company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to play a crucial role in their Wing Value Stream Management (VSM) team.
As the Industrial Project Manager, you will contribute to ensuring that all changes in the supply chain are seamlessly integrated and robustly managed. Your primary focus will be to secure the continuity of the parts flow required by the plants or Final Assembly Lines (FALs) to assemble the wings for the Single Aisle (SA) Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the definition of the Procurement Commodity strategy, ensuring the consideration of the SA Programme and VSM requirements, and the development of a corresponding roadmap.
- Prioritize and enable the projects submitted in the Procurement Plan as part of the Annual Operating Plan, aligning with Programme/VSM priorities.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to communicate the Programme/VSM Strategy, support the Procurement teams in its implementation, and provide feedback on performance.
- Support the Multi-Functional Team (MFT) in the call for tenders, including validating key business terms, contributing to the assessment of bidders\' answers, and defining MFT recommendations.
- Monitor supply chain projects (such as ramp-up and transfers of work) to ensure robust implementation through the relevant methodology, identifying and mitigating risks to avoid disruptions.
- Support the MFTs in identifying and mitigating risks related to suppliers\' claims, as well as the management of those claims through the Programme/Finance.
- Monitor the SA Wing supply chain performance and support the resolution of supply chain industrial issues impacting the Broughton plant or the FALs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing suppliers and working with MRP planning systems
- Expertise in industrial and quality management systems
- Strong project management skills with experience in product change management or transfer of work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the ability to appropriately challenge and speak up
- Proficiency in English, with negotiation-level skills
