Job Description
St Andrews House Medical Centre in Stalybridge is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team for a period of two months.

Main duties of the job
* Assist healthcare professionals in the surgery with patient care.
* Perform basic medical procedures such as phlebotomy and taking blood pressure.
* Provide support to the Staff Nurse in all possible ways.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
* Assist with the general day-to-day operations of the surgery.

The GP Practice is located in Stalybridge City Centre, close to the bus and train station. Housed in a large Victorian building, we are part of the Stalybridge, Mossley, and Dukinfield Primary Care Network, with the network hub situated on the first floor of the surgery building.

Role Requirements
* Undertake tasks delegated by the clinical and management teams.
* Perform procedures such as blood pressure checks and new patient assessments.

* Order supplies and equipment.
* Demonstrate understanding of general practice operations.
* Perform phlebotomy.
