Repairs Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing
Location: Barnsley (S70)
Pay: £16.90 per hour
Contract: Temp (3 months initially) – Immediate Start
This fast‑paced role involves planning and scheduling day‑to‑day/reactive repairs for trades across a housing portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Scheduling and allocating work to operatives
* Managing diaries and workloads for engineers/trades
* Handling reactive and planned maintenance jobs
* Liaising with tenants and internal teams
* Updating systems and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently
Requirements
* Experience in repairs planning/scheduling (social housing ideal)
* Strong knowledge of day‑to‑day/reactive repairs
* Experience using systems like MRI, Maintain, Impact Response or similar
* Good Excel and general IT skills
* Strong communication skills (customer‑facing role)
