We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and optimise the engineering function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, delivering preventative maintenance strategies, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Engineering team to achieve operational targets.
* Oversee breakdown maintenance and implement robust PPM schedules.
* Manage CAPEX projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and product safety standards.
* Drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
* Optimise equipment performance and ensure KPI achievement.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience managing an Engineering department in a manufacturing setting.
* Engineering qualifications (BTEC ONC, HNC, HND in Electrical Engineering).
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, GMP principles.
* CMMS experience and project management expertise.
