We’re Hiring: Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Engineering Manager to lead the installation, commissioning, and ongoing performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, equipment reliability, and compliance across a growing and dynamic business.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the installation and commissioning of new production equipment and supporting infrastructure
* Manage the maintenance and reliability of plant, machinery, and site services
* Develop and implement a robust Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy
* Oversee contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with RAMS, permits, and H&S standards
* Drive systems for calibration, inspection, and equipment compliance
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness and product integrity (e.g. detection systems)
* Take ownership of site security systems aligned with wider business strategy
* Ensure all statutory inspections are completed and actions closed out
* Act as the primary escalation point for production-related emergencies
* Lead or support continuous improvement and special projects
What we’re looking for:
* ~4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
* Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge
* Experience managing multi-skilled engineers and external contractors
* Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
* Proven ability in maintenance planning, budgeting, and risk management
* Familiarity with high-volume / high-speed manufacturing (injection moulding desirable)
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
