Overview
Education World is currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a rewarding and varied classroom setting. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to provide targeted support for children with EHCPs and a range of learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Pay Scale: £90 - £105 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
What We’re Looking For
* Has previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (in a school or care setting)
* Is calm, patient, and resilient with a genuine passion for inclusion
* Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Is committed to promoting positive outcomes for children with additional needs
* Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service or is willing to apply for one
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN
* Support class teachers in delivering personalised learning
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and pupil progress meetings
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Liaise with the SENCO and external agencies as required
