We have exciting opportunities for two Support Workers (Older People) to join our team at Parkhead Court, Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour.
About the Care & Support Worker role:
As our Support Worker, you'll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room, there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. It'll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you'll bring to this important role.
In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as a Supported Housing Worker, we will offer you:
~16 contracted hours per week worked over average 3 days (rotas will involve a mixture of days in a given week)

What we're looking for in our Care & Support Workers:
Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
