Job Description
* Lead and manage the infrastructure team to ensure consistency and reliability in the company's IT systems
* Plan, implement and manage IT projects related to infrastructure
* Monitor and maintain network servers and technology tools
* Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures
* Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
* Manage and report on allocation of IT budget
* Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
* Collaborate with other department leaders to define the company's future IT needs and propose solutions
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Infrastructure Manager should have:
* On-prem to Azure projects
* managing 3rd party suppliers
* Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
* Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Outstanding communication abilities
The role will be 3 days onsite at the Leeds office and 2 days working from home
